Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join our team for an international community service project focused on the grants provided to communities and schools. The role involves working on the Gene Haas Foundation for the F1 project, contributing to a cause that makes a significant impact.
ResponsibilitiesKeeps track of received data and source documents.Communicates issues and problems as they are found.Works with Purchasing on PO and packing slip errors.Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.Contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes.Compares data entered with source documents, or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors.Makes necessary corrections to information entered.Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.Keeps record of work completed.Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer.Transmits entered information into database.Files or routes source documents after entry.Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures, and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. Additionally, there are high-value items that require proper care and protection.Essential SkillsData entry experienceProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent documentation skillsStrong filing and organizational skillsAbility to type accurately and quicklyGood computer skillsStrong customer service skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 3 months of relevant experience or trainingHonesty and integrityAbility to adhere to rules, procedures, and policiesWork Environment
You will be working on an international community service project for the Gene Haas Foundation. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
