Description We are offering an opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, located in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia, 23320, United States. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our data transition process to the Deltek Costpoint ERP system. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Keeping records of customer credit up-to-date and precise • Resolving customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions • Entering, updating, verifying, and retrieving data in company systems with a high level of accuracy and consistency • Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times • Using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Familiarity with Costpoint - Deltek for data entry and management tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in a high tech engineering environment • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry tasks • Excellent customer service skills • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Costpoint - Deltek • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
