Data Entry Technician
Data Entry: Accurately enter prescription information, patient details, and medication orders into the pharmacy's computer system.Prescription Verification: Verify the accuracy and completeness of prescription information before entry.Patient Records: Maintain and update patient medication profiles and records.Communication: Communicate with healthcare providers and nursing staff to clarify prescription details and resolve any discrepancies.Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory by entering data related to medication stock levels and orders.Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and processing insurance claims.Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations in handling and entering medication information.Essential SkillsPharmacy TechnicianHIPPA knowledgeCustomer ServiceData EntryPrior AuthorizationRetail PharmacyCall Center experienceOrder EntryCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)Health Care knowledgeAdditional Skills & Qualifications1 year of Pharmacy Tech experience1 year of data entry experienceStrong customer service skillsPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $22.00/hr.
