In this role you will:

Perform accurate data entry of patient, provider, and test information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.Assist in the triage of specimens, handle mail and incoming materials (pathology slides, blocks, and reports), handle incoming supply orders, file slides and other materials, fill client supply orders, and other duties.Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements, following laboratory procedure as well as all safety and infection control guidelines.Participate in required safety and quality assurance programs.Function as support staff to other members of the team.Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

High School Diploma or equivalentHighly accurate and efficient typing skillsA high attention to detailThe ability to self-start and work quickly, and work well under pressureAbility to lift 35 poundsA desire to help your team and the patients we serveStrong reading, writing, and analytical skills
