This position focuses on ensuring data quality, compliance, and proper documentation while promoting adherence to governance standards. The Analyst will work closely with data stewards, data owners, and other stakeholders to maintain data governance processes and facilitate operational tasks. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support data governance initiatives. Your Day to Day + Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating data governance policies, standards, and procedures. + Support data governance committees and working groups by preparing materials, taking meeting minutes, and documenting action items. + Maintain clear and accurate documentation for data governance processes and related activities. + Track and report on data quality metrics, identifying gaps or inconsistencies. + Collaborate with data stewards and data producers to implement corrective actions for data quality issues. + Perform basic analyses to ensure data meets governance standards and organizational requirements. + Support the ongoing maintenance of the enterprise data catalog and business glossary. + Ensure metadata and classifications are updated and accurate for all data assets. + Assist in ensuring compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and HITECH. + Support risk assessments related to data governance activities and recommend mitigation actions. + Help create training materials to promote awareness of data governance standards. + Assist in delivering training sessions and maintaining communication channels for governance updates. + Assist in defining and tracking KPIs for data governance success. + Generate reports and dashboards to share progress with stakeholders. We Are Looking For: + Foundational understanding of data governance concepts, data quality management, and metadata principles. + Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and any experience with governance platforms (e.g., Informatica, Collibra) is a plus. + Strong analytical abilities to identify trends and issues in data quality. + Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks. + Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and business teams. + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data governance initiatives. What You Bring: + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field preferred. + 5-8 years systems OR business analyst experience. + 1-3 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or related roles. + Experience with healthcare industry, software development, data, and systems. + Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. #LI-Hybrid Minimum Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above LocationBoston, HinghamTime TypeFull time Salary Range: $96,840.00 - $118,360.00 The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
