Data Governance ArchitectThe Data Architect Senior manages the development and implementation of organization-wide strategies for data storage, security, regulations and management to meet technical and business goals. Working under minimal supervision, the Data Architect Senior manages the projects and processes that revolve around the design and storage of databases to store and process confidential and sensitive data.
Develops strategies for data acquisition, data access, data archiving, and data recovery in order to create optimal data processes for both the organization and the users.
Examines data models and defines the structure, attributes, and nomenclature of data elements to enhance current systems.
Evaluates new data sources to ensure adherence to the organization's quality standards and policies.
Optimizes overall data and information flow by reducing redundancy and ensuring accessibility to improve efficiency.
Reviews new data sources to stay informed of industry trends and new emerging data storage and maintenance methodologies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Reviews data warehouses and data analytics systems to ensure they are functioning properly and are not susceptible to security breaches.

EDUCATION:Required: Bachelor's Degree
