Develops new and enhances existing data governance processes as required to meet business objectives.Create and maintain data governance documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage maps, metadata repositories, and standard operating procedures.Manage data governance tools and technologies while providing guidance on best practices for their use.Utilizes data-driven analysis to assist in identifying inefficiencies, sub-optimal customer/user experience, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement.Collaborates with business stakeholders to assist with developing actionable improvement plans.Leverages system functionality to support business objectives.Participates in establishing key performance indicators to measure business process effectiveness. Tracks and reports on progress.Addresses any resistance to change and coordinates change management including leading data governance training programs and present complex data concepts to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive stakeholders.May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration , or a related field.Experience: Generally, a minimum of 10 years of experience. Prefer experience with the following:Proven experience implementing and managing data governance programs.Strong presentation and training delivery skills.Experience with data governance tools and technologies.Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent project management and stakeholder communication abilities.Experience with Data Catalog tools such as Informatica Data Catalog or Colibra.Benefits and Pay:

Within the range, individual pay takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, experience of the candidate, the role's scope, complexity, and other business and organizational needs.
