A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. **Job Summary:** In this role, you will be working as a member of the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO), as Data Governance and Controls Vice President, responsible for enabling the efficient and actionable use of data by planning, developing, and implementing enterprise data controls across systems within the Bank with focus on Risk and Regulatory Reporting and Financial Crimes Compliance under the Data Management Integrated Control Framework (DMICF). Activities include compiling score card data and reporting, management of maintenance of data accuracy tool, and escalation of themes and trends. Work with a broad range of teams and roles across the organization including the MUFG America Business and Functional Data Officers, including Risk and Regulatory Reporting Report Content Owners, Business System Owners, System Managers, project business sponsors, business and technical Subject Matter Expert **Responsibilities:** + Working with Data Officers in each MUFG America Business and Function to build out entry criteria for data accuracy + Liaising between the Business and Technology teams and will be responsible for ensuring all objectives are met per enterprise defined process, tool, SLAs, etc. + Reducing manual processes and driving automation via the identification and resolution of data quality incidents and problems + Understand and apply familiarity with Risk and Regulatory Reporting and Financial Crimes processes and Enterprise Metadata concepts such as Key Data Elements, Business Information Model, Report Attributes, Data Attributes, Physical Location, etc. + Understand data lineage across complex current state system environments and target state. + Capturing business and data requirements as appropriate within system development lifecycle across business and technology. + Assists QA team in developing test plans and scripts, traceability matrices + Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions + Obtain key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies **Qualifications:** + 7+ years of Business / Data Analysis, prior experience working with industry best practices is preferred. + 7+ years of experience in process improvement, prior experience with assessing processes for risks and controls is preferred. + 2+ years of experience for DQ Incident/Problem/Issue Management. + 7+ years SQL Experience for internal data analysis and data queries + Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of various teams + Capacity to identify and understand business needs and incorporate into technical requirement solutions + Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for assessment of complex production support issues and recommend/implement effective solutions + Experience with identifying, collecting, and reporting metrics and results + Competency with Office 365, SharePoint, Visio, MS-Project, HPQC/JIRA + Proven analytical and problem-solving skills for assessment of complex production support issues and recommend/implement effective solutions + Experience in the banking or finance institutions preferred + Data Governance and Controls experience a plus particularly with Data Accuracy Testing and Reporting + B.S. in relevant field The typical base pay range for this role is between $118K - $155K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
