**Data Governance Expert** **Location- Remote** **Clearance- Public Trust** **Salary- 140k/yr-160k/yr** _The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._ **_This program requires US Citizenship_** + Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in data governance or data management. + Experience leading cross-functional data governance teams and strategies to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization. + Experience driving data governance transformation, fostering data stewardship culture, and achieving measurable improvements in data quality and governance practices. + Experience in advanced data governance concepts, data quality management, data stewardship, and data lineage tracking. + Experience in implementing and managing data governance tools and technologies to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. + Advanced knowledge of data profiling techniques, master data management, data cataloging, and metadata management. + Experience configuring, using, and managing metadata management tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica). + Experience using Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage). + Experience with configuring and maintaining enterprise metadata templates (e.g., data dictionaries, business glossaries, metrics/KPI glossaries). + Experience establishing methods to comply with data privacy regulations and industry compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA. + Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating requirements into technical specifications for product teams. + Experience working in an Agile environment – working as a part of teams to iteratively develop and deliver data products. + Experience in data governance, data management, or related roles, with a focus on leading data governance projects and initiatives. + Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across complex data landscapes. + Experience in data quality assessment, data remediation strategies, and data governance maturity assessments. **Qualifications** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. + Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification **_ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans_** **_tag#IND1_**
