What You Will Do

In this role, you will play a key role in implementing and delivering high quality analytics through the MyRxConsultant platform. As a member of the MyRxConsultant development team, you will work alongside a team of developers, data analysts, product managers as well as healthcare/finance/IT professionals.  Our goal is to empower our clients to make data-driven decisions to better manage their pharmacy benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

Create and track implementation plans Manage and track data sources, communicating with account managers or clients when data quality issues arise Cleanse, enrich, and consolidate data using tools such as SQL and the Microsoft Suite Document data sources and quality issues Assist with analytic services associated with the analysis of client pharmacy claims data As required, assist developers and data analysts with new features, such as data visualizations & customized reporting

What We Are Looking For

Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with coursework in STEM, accounting, business, or finance Desire & ability to learn SQL, which may be demonstrated by basic knowledge of any programming language through work experience, education, or online certificates – *please submit code samples*

Personal Qualifications

Good technical communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly - *please submit writing samples* Collaboration skills, including the ability to seek assistance when needed and help others Ability to multi-task & prioritize Proactive & detail oriented personality thereby promoting a culture of ownership, as well as taking on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and knowledge of pharmacy benefits, PBM operations, or health insurance, including experience with pharmacy claims data SQL programming experience or another language such as Python, R, C++, Java, or SAS Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel Experience and knowledge of life sciences Experience with databases or other IT experience Analytical, financial, or statistical skills & knowledge Project management or leadership experience Former Milliman interns may be preferred candidates

The Team

The MyRxConsultant team at Milliman, based out of San Diego, is dedicated to enhancing prescription drug benefits and improving Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) transparency for clients across the United States. Our team is composed of a diverse group of consultants who live and work remotely throughout the country, bringing together a wide range of expertise and perspectives. We specialize in providing data-driven insights and solutions to optimize pharmacy benefit plans, ensuring our clients can make informed decisions that lead to cost savings and better patient outcomes. By leveraging advanced analytics and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, we aim to create more transparent, efficient, and effective prescription drug programs. Our collaborative approach and commitment to excellence make us a trusted partner in the ever-evolving healthcare industry.

Location

The expected application deadline is February 7, 2025. This role is based out of the Milliman office in San Diego, California. It is preferred that employees work in-office, but they can work remotely anywhere in the US.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $47,000 - $89,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
