Axient is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support the 780th Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. The 780th Test Squadron oversees test preparations, planning, safety, mission coordination, scheduling, execution, and reporting. The squadron evaluates conventional, nuclear, hypersonic, and other advanced weapons programs for the Air Force.
What you will do... Manage the efficient upload, download, and archival of data elements across multiple networks used for specialized connectivity at program stakeholder sites.Perform data upload and archival tasks on internal systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Maintain data dictionary and data element spreadsheets, ensuring documentation is current. Collaborate with test partners, Department of Defense contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective test data management.Conduct regular data audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.Assit Data Lead with briefing at test planning, execution, and working group meetings, providing insights and updates on test data management procedures.Adhere to enhanced security policies and directives within the program, ensuring data handling, marking, transmission, and IT network protocols are followed.Assist test partners, Department of Defense contractors, and other stakeholders with data inquiries and support their data-related needs.Identify and troubleshoot any restrictions to efficient data flow, proposing corrective actions and implementing solutions when necessary.Support various data-related projects as assigned by the data management lead. Skills you will need...Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline; Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM desired.Three (3) years of relevant experience desired.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) data management and security protocols.Analytical, methodical, and detail-oriented mindset with strong written and oral communication abilities.
Highly Desired Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in data management, handling, and mining tools such as Excel, VBA and scripting/programming languages such as VB Script, PowerShell, JavaScript, and JSON. HTML & CSS.Experience with 4th Gen Fighter aircraft, aircraft maintenance, or Team lead experience.Experience in Test data management or a related role within an Air Force or Navy acquisitions testing environment.Working knowledge of DoD security classification documentation and appropriate data handling procedures.Experience working in a classified environment and or SCIFSpecial Access Program experience.Knowledge of test data management concepts, methodologies, and data processing tools.Required Security Level:
Must possess and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.
