Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Data Management Specialist to join our QUALITY SERVICES team!The Data Management Specialist understands and supports the quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management philosophy, policies, and priorities of Aspirus. The Data Management Specialist collects, reports, and maintains clinical quality data for purposes of public reporting, external benchmarking, and internal quality improvement. The Data Management Specialist works collaboratively with other team members to ensure the accuracy of data collection and reporting to support internal and external quality reporting programs. The Data Management Specialist collaborates with others and contributes data for provider quality files.
HOURS: Full Time 0.75 FTE, 60 Hours Biweekly
Experience/Qualifications
Associate degree in Health Information Technology or equivalent education and training in a healthcare related field required.Training and education in medical coding is beneficial.Minimum of one year of medical records or healthcare experience required. Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position, or scope of services.Demonstrates understanding and competency in the use of personal computers, information systems, medical records, and Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrates strong organizational, prioritization, attention to detail, and time management skills.Demonstrates strong communication (verbal and non-verbal) skills.Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrates ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.Demonstrates ability to function in a highly matrixed organization.Employee Benefits
