Data Management Spring Co-Op
**Description** This position will be part of the US Animal Health Data Management team. Our value proposition is empowering our field force and fueling customer success by managing and governing the data that drives essential analytics and digital commercial capabilities. We achieve this through close collaboration with internal teams such as Analytics & Insights, Pricing & Promotions, Customer Facing Excellence, and IT to tackle a range of challenging and exciting data, digital, and technology initiatives. This role will be exposed to the data products concept, data operations, and data governance. **This role is based in Duluth, GA** **Duties & Responsibilities** Data Products (40%): + Work with experienced data product owners and data domain owners in our Global and US functions to develop and document requirements for data product solutions. + Participate in validating data products to ensure they meet the requirements defined. + Document test cases and share results. Data Operations (30%): + Work with data operations owner to document operational processes and meet with data stakeholders regularly to align on data changes, timing and ensure they are communicated to the right stakeholder groups. + Document third party ingestions for Inbound and Outbound Interfaces for BI AH partners. Data Governance (20%): + Support the documentation of standards, business rules, mapping documents, and updating of data dictionary and business glossary. + Support data issue management process as needed. Personal Growth/Administrative (10%): + Develop/improve relationship building skills. + Invest in learning more about the animal health business. + Complete all administrative responsibilities as required by the organization. **Requirements** + Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing + Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship + Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred + Major or minor in related field of internship + Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university + Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university **Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities** + SQL coding experience. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Strong work ethic. + Ability to seek assistance in uncertain situations or with challenging assignments. + Detail-oriented and thorough with work output. Preferred Skills: + Experience or familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google) + Experience with other coding languages that are not SQL (Java, C++, etc) + Experience or familiarity with Collibra Data Catalog **Eligibility Requirements:** + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required) + Must be 18 years of age or older.
