Starting Salary: $65,544.18 - $72,098.60 (Salary commensurate with experience)
Skyward is currently looking for a software engineer that specializes in data migrations and who has a passion for programming. The primary function of this role is to migrate data between systems while working collaboratively with our customers to be sure the desired outcome is achieved.
Work on something that truly makes a difference:
With a few exceptions, we’ve all gone through the public or private school system. We know all about grades, schedules, attendance, and discipline (at least some of us). At Skyward you will be part of a team that migrates data from the customer’s current system into Skyward’s product. This will help the school district provide the best possible education and help students be successful.
Software Engineers from the start :
Skyward was founded by a programmer and we have remained true to our roots ever since. Our collaborative environment provides the opportunity to work directly with experienced migration software engineers, project managers, customer success, and actual customers to advance your skills and develop the best migration possible.

At Skyward, every employee is a valued member of our team. You'll join migration software engineers, relationship builders, storytellers, and problem solvers. Collectively, we all share a passion for taking great care of our customers, partners, communities, and each other. We measure success, not by how many customers we have, but rather by how well we help our customers achieve their goals.
Professional growth starts on day one!
Skyward has one of the best onboarding programs in the industry. Our Learning and Development Department is dedicated to providing you with both an individual and collaborative learning experience that prepares you to join one of our migration teams.
