•Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise-wide business requirements.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to ensure data models align with long-term strategic goals.
• Responsible for resolving all critical technical incidents escalated by L-1 and L-2 teams, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Establish and enforce data integrity, consistency, and compliance with enterprise data governance policies.
• Define and implement advanced best practices for data modeling, including performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
• Lead efforts to document metadata, relationships, and data lineage for better data management and accessibility.
• 7+ years of experience with data modeling tools like Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar, with expertise in complex data modeling scenarios.
• 7+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and performance optimization.
• Deep expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing, and enterprise data architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based databases and big data technologies such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), Data Vault 2.0 Certification, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring junior data modelers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities in large-scale data initiatives.
• Flexible to work on 24/7 rotational shifts
