At Ericsson Group Real Estate, we manage all Ericsson workplaces and facilities worldwide, including offices, technical areas, production sites and warehouses.
Join our Global Strategy, Digitalization & Transformation team, one of the four units within Group Real Estate. We are responsible for crafting and embedding the overarching strategy, setting targets, and driving digitalization and transformation initiatives. Our focus on digitalization and analytics includes developing seamless user experiences for all Ericsson employees, optimizing operational efficiency for Group Real Estate through innovative tools and platforms, and leveraging analytics capabilities to support stakeholder dialogues, enhance performance management, and support concept development.
We are now looking for a Data Operations Manager, where you will play a crucial role in governing and managing our Data Products within various data platforms. This position is essential in ensuring that our data product is accurately represented, maintained, and aligned with organizational standards and needs.
Join us in ensuring the integrity and quality of Ericsson's Real Estate data through effective data stewardship and governance.
What you will do:
• Be accountable to secure timely availability and continuity of relevant, compliant, and reliable data in Real Estate for downstream analytics.
• Manage the requirements for creating new Data Products or updating existing ones, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and standards.
• Ensure the accurate representation of Real Estate data products and data elements within Ericsson's Data Catalogue and Data Marketplace.
• Define and maintain data quality rules and ensure that data quality is monitored correctly and securely.
• Streamline operations and resolve data-related issues promptly and efficiently, collaborating closely with RE system owners, various teams in IT and the Data Office team.
The Data Operations Manager will work closely with the other members of the Strategy, Digitalization & Transformation team and other key roles in the Real Estate organization, as well as counterparts within the company at large.
The skills you bring:
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
• More than 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in data management and data governance.
• Deep understanding of data management principles, practices, and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in agile work methodology.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and networking skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
• A proactive and self-motivated work approach with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication / presentation skills and proficiency in English (verbal & written)
As a person you must
• Be comfortable with using tools for data & analytics (experience in using SAP HANA, Snowflake, and Power BI is an advantage).
• Be adaptable and open to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Enjoy problem-solving and be result oriented with strong personal drive.
• Be detail oriented and well-organized with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Have the ability to manage stakeholders in a large organization.
