External Data Management is an integral function in ING interfacing with various levels within the organization in supporting and meeting their operational requirements. Key responsibilities are but not limited to:
• Inventory Management
o configure and maintain high data quality of vendor contract clause, products, organizational entities, fx conversions and cost center allocations in database
o ensure contract inventory is accurate related to user, allocation and data access permissions
• Invoice Validation and Cost Charging
o resolves issues of market data vendor’s invoice against agreements and contract directory
o produce cost allocation and charging reports for various business lines
o assist finance team in submitting journals and intercompany re-charging reports
• License and Data Access Permissions
o review of market data license and data access permission requests in accordance to internal guidelines and approvals
o maintain contract database reflecting license allocation and cost centers accurately
• Vendor and Usage Declaration
o retrieves and collects data from entitlement systems
o analyse data usage and submit report based on existing data policies and regulations of external data providers
