Azure Data Administrator will support all aspects of Azure Database (Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse and Azure Cosmos Database, etc.) sources and ETL products like (SSIS, Informatica ICS and Azure Data Factory). Will be expected to maintain strong knowledge of Azure Data platform and how it impacts the environment and relevant best practices in Cloud PaaS Database and Data Ingestion technologies. As Advanced Insights Platform administrator, He/she will need to understand Azure Data and Analytics Platform and several Open Source and technologies that can be applied to fit the needs of the business partners when called upon in the role of subject matter expert. 


 

 Experience: Minimum 7-year experience in SQL Azure  Database Administration (DBA) role.

Should have skills: Hand on experience in Azure Data Warehouse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake administrationBackup and recovery and troubleshooting in PaaS and IaaS environment for all described technology.User onboarding, administration and security Integrating with Enterprise security, auditing, and monitoring.Experience in Azure server configuration. Load balancer, Traffic manager, site recovery, System backup etc.Knowledge in Azure Data Factory, External Table, Polybase, PowerShell, Log AnalyticIts very desired the candidate have Snowflake experience, since his/her second responsibility is going to manage this platform also. Technical products certification is a very desired plus.
