Role Summary
As a Data Platform Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our data platform. You will own the roadmap, feature prioritization and product guidance for data ingestion, storage, processing, security, governance, scalability/performance, accessibility, regulation and monitoring. You will ensure that our cloud data platform meets the evolving needs of our internal and external data users, balances costs, meets compliance and enables user productivity.
Expectations for Success
Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external data users’ need to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation as we consolidate the data layer for our growing portfolio.
Develop and prioritize product features, specifications, and requirements based on technical knowledge and user feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, sales and other product managers relying on data platform features.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and stay updated on the latest advancements in data technologies.RequirementsWe are looking for the right person, not the exact list of requirements. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Strong understanding of AWS cloud data pipelines for data product delivery at scaleProven track record in product managementStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
