Data Privacy Compliance Analyst I

Job Summary:

Coordinates developing, implementing, and administrating policies and procedures to protect personal data in compliance with organization and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and processing LNRS Dispute inquiriesReviewing, interpreting, and translating (as needed) legal documentationWriting and reviewing dispute analysesPerforming independent research related to each case as necessaryPerforming profile restrictions (global locking and suppression)Drafting non-legal responsesSubmitting and reviewing investigationsAttending internal meetingsPerforming administrative tasks related to dispute cases and/or processesReviewing internal email boxReviewing internal manuals and having a complete understanding of processes and dataCollaborates with Legal and IT departments to identify personal data risks and to establish procedures to eliminate these risksMonitors procedures related to the collection, storage, retrieval, and disclosure of personal dataIdentifies and follows up on data protection issues that require investigation, resolution, and/or legal actionPlans and conducts personal data compliance training programsMay provide professional legal advice regarding personal data privacy General Profile: Performs routine assignments at the entry level to a professional job progression

Qualifications:

Requires a College or University/Bachelor’s degreeRequired - High proficiency in English (must possess strong written and communication skills)Minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from othersParalegal experience or legal backgroundPreferred - knowledge of Risk and Compliance, Data Privacy and/or GDPRRecommended Skills: Functional Knowledge: Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job disciplineBusiness Expertise: Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience
