Data Product Manager
Overview Are you ready to shape the future of data and drive global business growth? Join PepsiCo's Global Data, Analytics & AI team as a Data Product Manager for Commercial and Consumer products. In this role, you will be a critical member of the global data product management team. They will deliver the Growth Navigator a product aimed at measuring and managing the levers of growth for PepsiCo. This includes understanding how we achieve healthy growth balancing volume, value and household penetration. We aim to understand the predictive levers that can be embedded in our planning processes. The metrics underpinning our growth levers go across wide range of data in marketing, commercial and finance. Responsibilities Your day to day with us: Define and deliver the roadmap, vision, and strategy for Growth Navigator Owns overall responsibility for product delivery. Effectively estimates, timescales and resource requirements within the Agile context. Defines the data requirements and data quality definitions for all data needed for Growth Navigator Works closely with Data Stewards to identify data sources Define the Growth Navigator Scorecard requirements and work closely with Service Design and BI Designers to create the wireframes. Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Visualization/BI to deploy the product in new markets, drive improvements, and handle user feedback Enable delivery of roadmap through SAFe Agile Project management within ADO Operationalise deployments to streamline how we engage with local markets Continuously improve our data landscape by sourcing and evaluating relevant data Manage, evaluate, and negotiate with existing and prospective data vendors Evangelise/articulate the vision behind the product across the business, acting as a change agent for PepsiCo’s digitisation agenda, through workshops, demos, presentations, and 1:1 sessions Translate the product vision into concrete feature requirements/user stories/technical data requirements, generally in conjunction with Data Engineering and Data Visualization/BI Define and drive Business Customer acceptance criteria for delivery from D&Ai Prioritise different requests and initiatives in order to balance the needs of different markets and projects with the imperative to build standardised & generalisable solutions Stay up to date with other PepsiCo digital initiatives in order to identify future integration opportunities and seek alignment across the respective product roadmaps Advocate for modern data and product management practices and methodologies within and outside the team (e.g. Data Mesh, MLOps, active metadata, user-centric design & design thinking) Qualifications What do you need to succeed: Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of overall Technology experience that includes at least 3+ years of Product Management experience 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, Data Science or Data Management in business facing functions 2+ year experience in Food/Beverage/Manufacturing or Consumer Products industry 2+ years of experience leading/building advanced analytics and big data solutions Experience working in a data-centric business environment and proficient in standard data programming tools like SQL and Python Experience, and a passion for, turning ad hoc data deliverables into scalable products Excellent ability to identify sources of value from data analytics across consumer and customer business domains Familiar with Azure Cloud services and Data & Analytics products Passion about Agility & DevOps and bringing it to life in a large organization in a pragmatic manner Understanding of fundamental machine-learning principles (for instance, training versus predicting, performance measurement, and overfit), as well as techniques such as random forests or neural networks. Familiarity with machine-learning technologies and tools, such as big data stack, Python, and visualization techniques Familiarity with principles and tools for data governance and stewardship Strong communication skills and an ability to break down complex information into relevant and digestible points for both inside D&Ai and externally to the business What makes us different?
