Job summary: Title: Data Quality Assurance Analyst - Hybrid/Onsite - Locals Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States Length and terms: Long term - W2 or c2c Position created on 04/25/2025 06:02 pm Job description: ** In-person interview.** Initial PO for 12 months usually projects with this customer goes for 3+ years ***w2 or 1099 or c2c must attend in person interview ***Local Phoenix Candidates Only*** Description: Candidates should apply with the ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate Data Quality Assurance Analyst POSITION SUMMARY The Data Quality Assurance Analyst candidate will work closely with product owners, developers and project managers to define and prioritize testing data requirements. The candidate will add value to the team by validating the data quality, data accuracy, and data integrity by testing various reports and the data sets requested by business users. RESPONSIBILITIES + Work closely with the Business Analyst in gathering requirements to understand and identify business needs and the objectives related to the required data elements. + Perform analysis on the data requirements and clarify any questions with business stakeholders to clarify the data requirements. + Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing. + Validate reports to ensure data quality, data accuracy, and data consistency objectives are met. + Create SQL scripts to build data sets based on the requirements to validate data against developed reports checking for discrepancies, data inconsistencies and counts. + Identify and communicate any data related issues using established agency processes. + Support business users during User Acceptance Testing; ability to answer or investigate any questions or issues raised. + Design and maintain automated test scripts using Microsoft technologies. Required Skills + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. + 5+ years of relevant QA Data Analyst ETL testing Data quality testing. + Advanced level of SQL Server database query language (TSQL). + Experience in Test automation practices and tools, such as Selenium, Ready API, and JMeter. + Expertise in creating clear, concise test plans and test cases. + Experience in the education industry is preferred. + Gathering requirements Perform analysis on the data requirements Desired Skills + Experience in Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) or Azure DevOps Test Plans + Experience working on an Agile Scrum team preferred.
