The Data Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that an organization’s data adheres to high standards of accuracy, consistency, and completeness. This role requires overseeing the processes of data acquisition, integration, and cleaning, while continuously improving data management systems. The Data Quality Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain data quality across all departments and ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are followed. The Data Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization's data is clean, accurate, and reliable, enabling informed decision-making and enhanced operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop Data Quality Strategy:Create and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy tailored to the needs of various departments.Run RFP process to select data quality platform.Continuously assess and implement the latest best practices and tools.Define and establish data quality standards that ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Monitor Data Accuracy and Completeness:Build DQ platform automation to audit data sets to ensure they adhere to established standards, meet regulatory requirements, and align with organizational expectationsIdentify discrepancies and work towards resolution. Data Quality Performance Reporting:Configure rules and reporting on DQ platformProvide recommendations to functional managers for data quality rules and reports.Monitor Compliance with Data Standards:Audit data quality processes to ensure adherence to department standards.Develop and enforce procedures to maintain compliance across the organization.Train and Educate Employees:Conduct training sessions on data quality standards, ensuring employees understand and adhere to new policies and procedures.Educate teams on specific tools and technologies used to maintain high data quality.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.Up-to-date on industry trends, modern platforms, and new methodologies for improving data quality management. Examples are Monte Carlo, Soda, Anomalo, TelmaiProven experience in data quality control and modern DQ platformsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.Preferred Experience:
