We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our global Procurement Excellence & Transformation team as Data Roadmap & Translation Lead for the Professional Services and Digital Domain. In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for the definition and execution of Procurement's data roadmap.

This role will work closely with the Procurement Global Category Teams to understand their requirements for data & analytics, and function as a bridge between those teams and Procurement Services (Sanofi's in-house shared services centre) to translate those business requirements into a strategic data roadmap for the coming years.

Main responsibilities:

Development of a strategic analytics roadmap for Professional Services & Digital Domains, identification and design of analytics capabilities, aligned roadmap with execution arm (Procurement Services) to ensure timely delivery and quality of analyticsWork hand-in-hand with the Head of Professional Services Procurement & Head of Digital Procurement, Global Category Teams to understand data requirements for analytics and develop a data strategy (working with internal data stakeholders such as Procurement Services, Digital teams as well as external data sources such as Bloomberg, etc.) to uplift our data foundations in line with future analytic capabilities Have a deep understanding of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns, correlations, and predictive insightsPrepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations that highlight strategic insights and recommendations, gathering buy-in from Procurement Leadership TeamEffectively communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and procurementPropose innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of analytics processes

About you

Experience:

3+ years of professional experience, with a focus on analytics and emerging technologiesStrong understanding of Procurement processes and frameworksExperience in Indirect Procurement, with knowledge on Professional Services & Digital Procurement, or Consulting organizations is advantageous

Soft and technical skills: 

Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, industry trends, and best practicesAbility to translate business requirements into a technical roadmap to be executed by Procurement ServicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions with unerring focus on generating business valueGood stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields. Master's degree in relevant field, or MBA is preferred.

Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English.
