Job Description:
This opportunity sits within the Center of Excellence’s Transformation Team, that is focused on reshaping the future of Finance at Synopsys, driving strategy, process, system, structural and behavioral change across the finance function. This hands-on role requires a combination of analytical competency, data analysis and visualization expertise to drive actionable insights and develop data-driven products that enhance business performance and optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key performance metrics and insights to stakeholders.Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights that drive business outcomes.Utilize statistical and data science techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets.Support the identification and structuring of business and operational Key Performance Indicators and metrics.Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility for analytics purposes.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and data product management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.Promote and facilitate the development of self-service capabilities for users in the access and reporting of data.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) as a data analyst or finance analyst, preferably in a B2B environment.Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Advanced skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.Proficiency in Python, or other data manipulation languages; experience with data governance.Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, knowledge of time series analysis would be beneficial.Experience of data warehousing concepts and technologies.Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive business strategy and decision-making.
