Kforce is working with a client in search of a Data Science Analyst to join their team! The purpose of this job is to assist in developing and maintaining advanced analytic tools by utilizing machine learning and predictive analysis techniques. This position is remote with travel to NY 2-4 times a year, but you must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WI. Responsibilities: * Collect, examine, and clean up large sets of data * The Data Science Analyst will assist in developing linear predictive models, such as time series, generalized linear model (GLM), and generalized addictive model (GAM) * Assist in developing machine learning models, such as gradient boosting machine (GBM), XGBoost, natural language processing (NLP), neural network, and random forest, with minimum guidance * Assist in implementing and maintaining linear predictive and machine learning models * Assist in data collection of special projects and perform additional duties as required, such as aerial images collection for geospatial analysis and research on generative AI application * The Data Science Analyst will assist in visualization solutions for monitoring model results and managing portfolio performance * Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required
