The Data Science Engineer will help to support the maintenance and development of the Analytics Team's infrastructure and tools under the supervision of the team's Data Engineering Manager. This role will provide support for both general-purpose infrastructures used by the team as well as custom tools and systems created for specific projects. 
This is an incredible team and the individual must have a strong Data Science background. The client is open to the required level of experience and will entertain someone with two to over ten years as long as they have the below key skills.R &/or Python (ideally both)AWS (a MUST have - no flex)Shiny dashboards (heavily preferred)Specific Responsibilities:Support maintenance and development of cloud-based computing and storage infrastructure for the Analytics TeamSupport maintenance and development of applications used by the Analytics Team, including Shiny dashboards, Airflow ETL tools, and Docker container services.Support tools and services used in Analytics projects such as the MBTA performance dashboard, the 311 web interface, and the Imagine Boston 2030 dashboards.Support the technical implementation of the Analytics Data Warehouse Platform and its integration with existing tools and applicationsProvide technical troubleshooting and support for other Analytics projectsPerform related work as requiredKey Skills:R &/or Python (ideally both)Shiny dashboards (heavily preferred)AWS (a MUST have - no flex).
