As a Data Science Intern, you’ll work closely with teams across the company to help solve business issues using technical and communication skills.

About the Role

Work closely with various teams across the company to identify and solve business challengesDevelop predictive statistical, behavioral or other models via supervised and unsupervised machine learningConduct statistical analysis and/or build predictive modelsDrive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sourcesAnalyze and interpret the results of modeling experimentsCollaborate with the engineering and product teams to develop and support our internal data platform for ongoing analyses

About You

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a master’s degree or Ph.D. in technical fields such as data science, applied mathematics, statistics or computer scienceExperience of statistical methods generally and particularly in the areas of modeling and business analyticsComfort with manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sourcesAbility to communicate results of analysis in a clear, precise and actionable mannerProficient knowledge of Python or RFamiliarity with relational databases and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

Expert knowledge of PythonDemonstrated work with Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or KerasExperience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.)
