Data Science Manager - Sales Operations

As a Data Science Manager, you will be pivotal in driving revenue management through the strategic use of data. You will lead a team of senior analysts to transform complex data into actionable insights that inform business strategies. Your expertise will guide the team in developing innovative solutions that contribute to the company's overall success.

We are seeking a talented Data Science Manager to lead reporting and analytics within our Sales Operations team. As the key stakeholder, you will be responsible for analyzing the business impact of tools and processes owned by Sales Operations. Your role will involve identifying correlations and trends, enabling strategic decision-making, and reporting on growth opportunities for both customers and sellers.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data-driven strategies for revenue optimization. Lead data analytics projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.Diagnose and pinpoint areas for improvement within the Sales & Support organization as you evaluate the company’s business health and performance.Ability to solve complex business problems by conducting analysis, reporting key findings and making recommendations for solutions.  Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive data-centric solutions.Present complex data insights in an understandable manner to stakeholders at various levels. .Continually seek out and implement new methodologies and technologies in data science to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.Manage a team of data scientists and analysts, providing guidance and mentorship.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.Conduct performance reviews and support career development plans for team members.

Qualifications:

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience7+ years experience in data science3+ years in a team management role

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

Strongly prefer 3 or more years working with Tableau for data visualization and Alteryx or a related data analytics platform  Expertise in data modeling, analysis, and statistical methods. Proficient in data science tools and programming languages (Python, R)Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projectsDemonstrated success in implementing data-driven solutions that have positively impacted business outcomes.Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical abilitiesExperience with Salesforce dataUnderstanding of sales operations and enablementStrong leadership and team-building skills
