Job Title: Data Scientist 3 (IT)

Requirements:
  5-10 Years Experience   Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Statistics (Theoretical/Computational), Applied Mathematics, MIS, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.   Preferred: MS/MBA degree, Ph.D., or progress toward Masters/Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Statistics (Theoretical/Computational), Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence   Professional experience in analytics, marketing, business analysis, spatial analysis. Advanced statistical and predictive modeling experience using both supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques.   Advanced data analysis skills and a firm grasp of the scientific method   Must be proficient in statistics and at least one programming language (typically R or Python)   Experience with data visualization in Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or other comparable tools   Familiarity with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or production level model deployment   Basic HTML knowledge   Knowledge of front-end tools such as query tools, report writers, data mining, and analysis tools   Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint   Responsibilities include data wrangling, data analysis, and data exploration   Should be familiar with a variety of Machine Learning algorithms and big data processing frameworks.   In addition to building machine learning and other statistical models, will be expected to create data visualizations.   Extensive knowledge doing Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or production level model deployment in the cloud   Experience in coding, testing, and implementing campaign data initiatives using real-time decision-making marketing technology   Experience in database marketing working with campaign strategies and execution   Experience in marketing analytics   Experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)   Other skillsets needed in this role include a working knowledge and awareness of mathematical principles and statistics, astute ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, and the ability to monitor industry trends to position the company for future growth and maturity in the data space   Data management and data analysis to track, monitor, and optimize the performance of decision-making and support of marketing initiatives   Strong technical competency and programming skills in large-scale data analysis using coding/querying languages including at least one of SAS, Python, or R.  Others desired to be cognizant of are Spark, T-SQL, and PL-SQL   Analysis, design, development, test, troubleshooting and documentation of complex systems including several of the following: predictive models, feature extraction, data-driven analysis, application of machine learning algorithms, text mining, decision support, variable selection and model fit   Knowledge of data migration and integration across datasets and technology platforms
