**Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future** Currently, **ManTech** is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Data Scientist I** to join our team in the **Laurel, MD area.** The position is part of a team that provides systems engineering, software development, configuration management and application testing support for a Weapons and Space software development effort. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Performs advanced data analysis and modeling on complex datasets to drive data-driven decision making within the organization + Evaluate, optimize, and/or develop models that are tailored to the mission set of the customer + Works closely with cross-functional teams that include business owners, Data Engineers, and other IT stakeholders + Implement statistical models and provide actionable insights to optimize business processes + Collaborate with other Data Scientist IIs and take direction from more senior personnel **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelors degree in a STEM field and 2 years of experience, or four (4) additional years of experience are required in lieu of degree. + Associates degree and two (2) additional years of experience are required. + Ability to obtain one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP **Preferred Qualifications:** + Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements; e.g., Oracle and Mongo **Security Clearance Requirements:** + Must have a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph.
