What We Need: Brady is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our growing R&D Device Analytics Team. This individual will spearhead our efforts in utilizing advanced analytics to drive key business decisions and foster innovation. The Data Scientist will apply a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and AI to create innovative solutions, work alongside a skilled team of analysts, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organization. What You'll Be Doing: + Collaborate with a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and fostering professional development of the team in areas of your expertise. + Develop and implement sophisticated statistical and machine learning models to address complex business challenges, including customer segmentation, churn prediction, fraud detection, and demand forecasting. + Conduct in-depth data analysis employing a variety of techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis. + Design and execute A/B testing and other experimental designs to assess the effectiveness of new products, features, and marketing campaigns. + Oversee the building and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality and accessibility for analysis. + Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product marketing, engineering, operations, finance, etc.) to identify opportunities for data-driven enhancements and translate business requirements into analytical problems. + Clearly and effectively communicate intricate analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations, presentations, and reports. + Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, identifying opportunities to apply new techniques for enhanced business outcomes. + Contribute to the development and implementation of the team's strategic vision and roadmap. What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science. + Proven track record of using advanced analytics to uncover end user insights and solve real world problems. + Deep understanding and practical experience in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques. + Strong proficiency in SQL, with extensive experience working with large and complex datasets. + Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). + Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. + Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for leveraging data to drive business value. + Strong work ethic and passion for learning.
