About the role:
As a Pricing Data Scientist, you will be a pivotal link between business objectives and data. Your role will involve translating pricing strategies and targets into a data landscape that enables value realization. To realize this objective, you will be the owner of a price-steering algorithm, which needs to be optimized on a continuous basis. This enhancement can range from refining formulas, and discovering fresh data sources, to enhancing the depth of insights in dashboards. Your main stakeholders (Global Pricing) will provide business background and give suggestions on optimization and possible improvements. You will also be cooperating with Digital for optimal data architecture & implementation.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement advanced analytics & predictive modeling tooling (in the domains of Pricing). Pro-actively perform data-analytic methods to derive insights for the stakeholders and future improvements. Maintain a visual dashboard that supports the realization of the analytics. Lead and coordinate the data requests and their implementation in the data architecture. Up-to-date and state-of-the-art Pricing Analytics model (ie Algorithm & Data infrastructure to support it). Dashboards for Sales & Pricing. Gather information needs and business updates. Align on priorities of improvement pipeline. Align on technical set-ups to strengthen the analytics landscape. Translate business requests into technical Digital actions.
About you:
Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Certification in PowerBI or similar BI tools is considered a plus. Min 3 years of proven track record in a complex data environment. Strong analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills. English business proficiency (written and spoken). Experience with data engineering (preferably on Databricks and Microsoft Azure), data wrangling, and cleaning. Experience with data architecture and management. Experience with data visualization (preferably Microsoft Power BI). Experience with Big Data & Statistics is considered a plus. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, and SQL (primary data manipulation/data model Setup & analysis tasks).
