Data ScientistIn this role You will:
Collaborate as part of a cross-disciplinary team, working closely with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, data managers, and business partners.Develop scalable and impactful data science products, often integrating statistical or machine learning algorithms, in partnership with data engineers and software developers.Conduct data analyses to uncover actionable insights that drive business decisions.Champion data science best practices by ensuring high standards in technical design, unit testing, monitoring, code reviews, and documentation.Present your findings to both peers and senior management, making complex data understandable and actionable.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, enhancing developer velocity and productivity.What You will need to be successful:MSc or PhD in a quantitative field (like Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science).2+ years of experience creating and maintaining scalable data science solutions.Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning principles.Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).Basic SQL skills for database management.A customer-focused approach with a talent for delivering impactful results quickly.Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and partners.A passion for continuous learning and improving your skills.At bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you:
