An experienced Data Scientist, with a solid technical background eager to partner with engineers and the Business Intelligence team. The Data Scientist will lead the design and development of predictive models in Business Intelligence dashboards and in the Axxess Solutions. This individual will solve real-world client problems in healthcare. The Data Scientist will collaborate with product teams to deliver sustainable solutions to our clientele.

What you will do…

Assist in identifying priority opportunities for using patient data to drive home-based care planning.Lead the process of applying social science methodology to available patient data to develop predictive measures for key favorable and unfavorable home care outcomes.Assure that the predictive measures developed by Axxess conform to applicable established methodological standards.Assist in presenting/defending Axxess predictive tools to clients and prospectsPerform complete quality assurance of the data, from source system to the Data Warehouse and engaging users as a necessaryWill serve as a leader and mentor to other team membersAd Hoc research requests as assigned.

What you bring…

Doctoral degree in social science, healthcare or related field required4-6 years of experience as a Data Scientist4+ years of experience in predictive modelingProven understanding and experience utilizing statistical modeling toolsExperience in leveraging statistical tools like SAS, R, or othersExperience in Machine Learning Algorithms and SQLHome Health, Home Care, Hospice, and/or Palliative care experience preferredAble to work on specialized teams, Kanban and/or Scrum team experience preferredAccountable to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and organizedExcellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
