Data Scientist
Description On behalf of our client in the financial industry, we are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. In this role, you will work with structured and unstructured data, applying statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques to solve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, programming (Python, R), experience working with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure); they will also have a background in financial industries. Key Responsibilities: + Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends. + Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business challenges. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions. + Create clear and insightful visualizations to communicate findings. + Continuously improve data collection and processing methods. Requirements Qualifications and Skills + Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling. + Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying and managing relational databases. + Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. + Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive. + Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn). + Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for data storage and machine learning workflows. + Strong statistical and mathematical skills (e.g., probability, regression analysis, hypothesis testing). + Experience with A/B testing and experiment design. + Knowledge of deep learning architectures and frameworks. + Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision techniques. + Exposure to data engineering tools and practices (e.g., ETL pipelines, NoSQL databases). + Domain expertise in finance.
