Data Scientist
Description Meet the team: Join our dynamic Corporate Strategy team, where we are at the forefront of shaping the organization's growth strategies and guiding its future trajectory. We are seeking a sharp, experienced individual to join as a Clinical Data Scientist. The ideal candidate will have the requisite programming and statistical knowledge to turn patient data into actionable insights. The ability to query health data models and analyze electronic medical records is essential. Where you come in: + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and translate diverse business requirements into executable analytical plans for real-world data studies to provide meaningful insights and business effectiveness claims. + Independently scope and execute analysis plans using SQL, R and/or Python in a cloud-based notebook environment. + Design, develop and program methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actional insights and solutions. + Deliver reports, presentations, statistical analyses and other relevant outputs to technical, business, and clinical teams on tight timelines. + Keep data studies on track and communicate on the status of these data studies that aim to create value from real-world health data (e.g., electronic medical records, CGM data). + Ensure high data quality and work with relevant teams to perform data quality checks. + Serve as internal data owner for real-world health data source. + Develop/refine data definitions for health events of interest (conditions, medications, labs, etc.) to ensure successful data analysis plan execution. + Write regex queries using Databricks SQL to extract clinical concepts from clinical notes as relevant to analysis plan.
