This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data by combining domain expertise, programming skills, and knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
The individual in this function requires analytical data expertise as well as technical skills to clean, transform, and explore data so that they can create value from it and work with stakeholders to make sure they are helping to solve real business problems.
This role assists in implementing policies and procedures for either the Business Unit or the Division. This position manages complex compliance issues related to the above topics.
We are looking for someone with:
Computer Science / Information Technology, Financial / Investments, degree holder or other relevant education
3-5 years of relevant experience in BI/Data Analyst or analytics role
Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in statistical methods and tools to analyze data and build predictive models.
Programming: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks to develop predictive models.
Data Visualization: Ability to create visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
You will stand out if you have:
Knowledge of financial services/insurance operations and products is a plus.
Familiarity of AML systems and tools such as Bridger and FCRM, is an advantage.
On the job you will:
Advocate the use of advanced data analytics for Compliance Testing to improve risk identification.
Analyze large volumes of data to uncover patterns or anomalies indicative of non-compliance.
Leverage Generative AI, applying prompt and flow engineering techniques to enhance data analysis, automate insight generation, and develop Generative AI-driven solutions that address specific business needs and use cases.
Develop predictive models, performing statistical analysis, and deriving insights from complex data sets.
Use predictive modeling and machine learning techniques to forecast and prevent compliance breaches.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and suggest improvements.
integrate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive view of compliance risks and issues.
Automate data collection, processing, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and implement data pipelines and workflows to streamline compliance-related data processes.
Work closely with various business units to understand their data requirements and compliance needs.
Communicate data quality issues and solutions to senior management and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with ICS Compliance Testing Team and the Audit Team during key risk audit engagements to mitigate risks effectively.
