This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the school’s data infrastructure, ensuring rigorous assessment practices, and fostering a culture of data-informed innovation. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + **Accreditation Assessment:** + Develop, implement, and maintain data collection, management, and analysis protocols to support accreditation processes. + Assist in designing instruments and surveys to collect relevant data for academic program evaluation. + Analyze data to evaluate program outcomes, accreditation standards, and compliance. + Prepare and present annual and self-study reports for accreditation bodies, ensuring clarity and accuracy. + **Research Consultation:** + Provide mentorship and consultation to faculty, staff, and PhD students on research design, methods, and statistical analysis. + Support faculty research initiatives by developing data analysis plans, conducting statistical modeling, and interpreting findings. + **Support Data-Driven Decision Making:** + Collaborate with leadership and staff to analyze institutional data and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making. + Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate data findings to stakeholders. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing innovative data solutions. **Minimum Qualifications** + Master’s degree in Computational Science, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field. + Three (3) years experience in program evaluation, complex data analysis, and/or managing quantitative research projects. **Preferred Qualifications** + PhD in a quantitative science or related discipline. + Highly skilled and proficient in programming Microsoft Excel and SQL. + Knowledge and experience of handling large-scale data systems and familiarity with VBA, SQL, and other programming languages. + Highly skilled and proficient in at least one statistical software package (e.g., SAS, STATA, SPSS). **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Data Expertise: Proficiency in data analysis, cleaning, restructuring, and coding. + Database Management: Professional ability to manage and manipulate databases. + Statistical Analysis: Experience in statistical modeling and interpretation. + Research Acumen: Knowledge of research design, research methods, and evaluation science. + Instrumentation Design: Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing assessment instruments. + Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. + Writing:Evidence of clear writing for technical and non-technical audiences. + Workstyle: Strong organizational skills, independence, and task orientation. + Teamwork: Flexibility and adaptability to work with multiple teams and changing priorities. + Communication: Experience communicating data and findings clearly for non-technical audiences to understand and use in decision-making. + Work Orientation: Genuine intellectual curiosity and passion for leveraging data to drive improvement. + Lifelong Learning: Interest in continual learning of new tools and techniques. **Other Requirements** **Working Conditions** **Special Conditions for Eligibility** **CBC Requirement** It is the policy of The University of Texas at Arlington to conduct a criminal background check on any applicant who is under final consideration for employment with the University. **EEO Statement** It is the policy of The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA or The University) to provide an educational and working environment that provides equal opportunity to all members of the University community.
