H&R Block is seeking a Data Scientist/Quality Analyst for the Data Management and Acquisition team within Strategy & Operations. This remote or local position will ensure that high quality data is provided to support analytics and reports for Senior leaders and business stake holders.

Day to Day, You'll...Work on large data sets using Azure SQL DBExtract data from JSON formats and load to Hive Tables – evolve and maintain an efficient/generic processProcess data using Databricks Notebooks and Python and maintain it in ADO repositoriesCreate/Maintain custom Python libraries as needed to support Analytics teamsInteract with Business Stake holders, Data Scientists, and the Technology team to prepare and cleanse the data for analytics and reporting needsMonitor work using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) storiesAutomate process as needed to improve the speed of deliveryBe a continuous learner, with the goal of expert level understanding of H&R Block data Work closely with the Technology team and Analytics team to review roadmaps and understand future needs.
