Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be working as data scientist and will be part of Electrification Data and Analytics team based in Bergamo, Italy. In this role you will be reporting to a Data Science manager and delivering and implementing analytics strategy in one or more functional areas in alignment business stakeholders, leveraging knowledge of advanced analytics to make business impact.The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid and You will be mainly accountable for:• Working with datasets from the enterprise data warehouse, creating deployment pipelines, monitoring dataset scoring metrics.• Synthetizing complex results or processes into simple, clear visualizations, presentations, and communication of findings.• Communicating with business to understand use cases and user stories to be implemented in project sprints, leading the requirements and implementation for projects, sometimes coordinating a small team of junior data scientists.• Working on our agentic ai framework, developing RAG agents, vector stores, text2sql, orchestration of agents and assistants for different projects. You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in Python, SQL and main machine learning concepts, libraries such as sklearn, pytorch/tensorflow Ability to demonstrate your experience in knowledge of Python, SQL and main machine learning concepts, libraries such as sklearn, pytorch/tensorflow is mandatory. Working as Data Scientist with basic understanding of big data architectures – such as fundamentals of Hadoop and Spark. Experience with main concepts of Generative AI (genAI) such as RAG, fine tuning, agents is mandatory. Experience with LLM agnostic agentic frameworks such as LangGraph/LangChain, Semantic Kernel or any other framework is preferrable. Possess an enhanced knowledge of BI visualization tools such as PowerBI, knowledge of Tableau and Git is mandatory. Proven experience with MLops, docker and moving projects to production, implementing end to end devops pipelines to build and publish artifacts and Experience with main Azure services for data science, such as databricks or AzureML is mandatory. You are passionate about strong analytical and organizational skills, working independently to achieve results. Degree in Data Science, Statistics or Business Intelligence or related. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
