Data Scientist II

As a Senior Data Scientist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and data science techniques to drive insights and innovation. You will play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions that optimize business processes and drive strategic decision-making. You will report directly to our Director of Data Science, and you’ll work out of our Mason, Ohio location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by utilizing your expertise in data science to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Apply advanced analytics and data science techniques to solve complex business problems
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to drive actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate models
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

WE VALUE
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
