The position as an advanced functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) technician will involve fabricating, testing and validating an adapted functional near-infrared spectroscopy probe to the ear canal. In addition to adapting and validating the fNIRS probe, this position will involve acquiring fNIRs data using traditional scalp probes on human subjects with subjective and somatic tinnitus.
The position as an advanced technician will involve fabricating, testing and validating an adapted functional near-infrared spectroscopy probe to the ear canal. In addition to adapting and validating the fNIRS probe, this position will involve acquiring fNIRs data using traditional scalp probes on human subjects with subjective and somatic tinnitus. Once data is collected, it will also be analyzed and drafted for public presentations and publications. This position will involve mentoring audiology and medical students as well as otolaryngology residents in research data collection.
Performs research, analysis, and modeling on organizational data and data sets utilizing advanced statistical methods to mine and analyze complex and unstructured data sets. Offers complex analysis and utilizes advanced algorithms and statistical software. Adheres to all protocols.
