Job Description

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Data Scientist, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Data Scientist with strong Internet Ops tradecraft skill set to develop, coordinate, and maintain internet knowledge base/risk framework, data model, lexicon, and questionnaire to assist providers, system owners and users; assist with the development of the internet decision tree to fully automation of the questionnaire. Experience working in DO, CCI, VOG in an operations capacity is desired. joining our team to manage and enhance Splunk environment to ensure seamless data ingestion, analysis, and visualization.

REQUIRED SKILLS: The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

Demonstrated experience assessing risk, impacts and developing contingencies to mitigate those issuesDemonstrated experience analyzing structure and unstructured data and streamlining business process; making customized algorithms and data modelingDemonstrated experience working with risk frameworksDemonstrated experience with data visualization and link analysisDemonstrated experience performing strategic systems planningDemonstrated experience developing and implementing logical workflows for complex decision matricesDemonstrated experience completing various forms of communications for executive, technical and mission audiencesDemonstrated experience in making logical, fact-based informed decisions about mission internet technology solutions and their usageDemonstrated experience identifying technology opportunities and gaps in technical capabilities and processDemonstrated experience with time management and working on multiple initiativesDemonstrated experience evaluating and developing strategies to solve complex system engineering challenges in cross-organizational environment
