Join Data Security Governance team as a consultant responsible for assessing, researching, analyzing, and documenting processes that impact data security.
Job functions:
Use the results of sensitive data discovery scanning on data center and cloud storage platforms to identify deviations from corporate data protection standards and furnish them to data owners to resolve. Review and approve remediation of non-compliance with data protection standards, at initial or escalated stages, depending on a platform.Review and approve variances against corporate data protection security and IT standards.Provide guidance to sensitive data owners on how to secure their data.Research, analysis, design, and configuration of Database Activity Monitoring alerts, within SecuPi, for consumptions by XSIAM (SEIM).Research, analysis and documentation of current encryption methods and cases as part quantum readiness effort.Required Qualifications:
Familiarity and experience with data security and data protection concepts, challenges, and practical applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail, including while cross-referencing various documentation and record keeping.Analytical reasoning and problem solving.Ability to work independently, leading meetings with lines of business and data owners discovering and documenting information pertinent to data security.Ability to interact with, guide and educate non-technical personnel, imparting relevant data security knowledge.Ability to research and analyze industry trends and adopt them to team’s goals, tools, and processes.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $68,000 to $103,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
