Data Sourcing Analyst

To be a successful Data Sourcing Analyst, you should have experience with

·        Industry standard for data and security frameworks, ideally within an HR function 

·        Data cleansing, preprocessing and exploratory data analysis 

·        Translating business questions to data definitions and source to target mapping documents

·        Automating data testing using scripting languages like Python, BI tools like Qlik or any similar tools

·        Working in a cross-functional team engaging with product managers, data & product developers and testing to ensure that the final product answers all Business Questions clearly

·        HR systems, preferably Workday

Some other highly valued skills may include:

·        Functional knowledge of Workday

·        Hands on experience in Workday & Prism

·        Data visualization tools like Qlik Sense

·        Knowledge of HR processes and data

·        Excellent & proven communication skills - verbal, written & presentation

 Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

·         Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure

·         Foundational knowledge in microservices

·         Understanding of big data architecture and exposure to Hive / Impala

·         Hands on experience in Python/Spark

Purpose of the role

To deliver HR services and support to Barclays colleagues, candidates, alumni and third-party vendors. 

Accountabilities

Delivery and execution of HR operational activities aligned with people leader and colleague journeys aligned with bank policies and regulations, including performance management, rewards, benefits and learning operations documentation, coordination, and administration.On- and offboarding of new employees, (including orientation, documentation, coordination, exit interviews), knowledge transfer performance, rewards, learning operations and related administration.Maintenance of colleague personal and reference data in relevant HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations, reporting and analytics.Provision of guidance and support on candidate, colleague and alumni queries relating to HR policies, procedures, processes, or guidance.
