Role:
As a member of the Proprietary Data Team, the Data Specialist will be responsible for analyzing vast datasets to identify and resolve entities, extracting trends to enhance data quality and accuracy. This role demands a blend of analytical prowess and technical skills, facilitating the translation of data insights into actionable requirements for our software development team and ensuring the successful implementation and integration of solutions without compromising existing data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive data analysis with a focus on entity resolution to identify, differentiate, and match entities across multiple datasets.Utilize tools such as SQL and Excel to manipulate and analyze data, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.Extract and interpret trends from data analysis, translating these insights into clear requirements for the software development team to implement.Collaborate closely with IT professionals and developers to ensure the accurate execution of requirements and to validate the integration of new solutions.Monitor and verify the outcomes of implemented solutions, ensuring they meet the predefined criteria and do not adversely affect existing data quality.Continually assess and refine the entity resolution process to enhance data quality, accuracy, and efficiency.Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data analysis and entity resolution techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, Master’s degree is a plus.Must have 2-4 Years of proven experience in data analysis and managementExperience with SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable requirements for technical teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, with fluency in English, to effectively convey trends and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Spark, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in entity resolution.Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
