The Data Specialist is an entry-level position and involves seeking and collecting relevant data as well as documenting the information be processed. Job duties include gathering data, interpreting the statistics, writing reports, and designing charts and graphs.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Identifying data sources, collect data, and source missing dataOrganize data into usable formatsAnalyze data to find answers to specific questionsAssess quality of data and remove or clean dataGenerate information from data sets and identify trends and patternsPrepare reports for leaders and project teams including, charts, graphs, and detailed or summary reportsReconcile workforce databases (Trapeze and Lawson) to ensure headcount accuracy and organized reporting Generate standardized reports to include daily, weekly, and monthly statistics of all active and inactive employees by department

Talent Requirements:

Associate’s degree in related field preferredPrior related experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Excel and Power BI
