Data Specialist - Pensions Data Service Delivery

The Data Service Delivery Data Specialist is part of the wider Data Service Delivery team (DSD). The DSD Team is a revenue generating team within the Outsourcing business with a key focus on data projects.

In this role you will report into the Data Service Delivery Manager to deliver the tasks allocated, ensuring quality delivery to pre agreed deadlines.

The Role

Own and deliver smaller data projects and data tasks as part of wider data projects including:  file dives to identify and capture required pensions data report writing to agreed specification to capture data   data evaluation and reporting of that evaluation building calculations routines in excel to specification setting up data request to client updating data results  Review and checking of data tasks completed by other team members Deliver allocated data projects/tasks accurately, to deadline and within scope and budget  Support the wider data service delivery team, working with other team members on their tasks providing direction, insight and sharing knowledge and skills Communicate details of progress throughout the task to DSDT project owner/ Team Manager calling out challenges and other constraints in a timely manner with suggestions of possible solutions to the assignments Ensure tracking management information data is kept up to date and accurate in respect of allocated workload Ensure that all chargeable work is captured correctly on timesheets for billing purposes Provide positive contribution to ideas for process and ongoing improvements for DSDT Tasks

The Requirements 

Excellent technical knowledge of UK based pensions and experience of the delivery and management of data project tasks and projectsProven ability to identify and efficiently resolve challenges, identifying solution to ensure allocated data tasks and projects are delivered within required quality, timescales and agreed remitExcellent time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise own workload with experience of working on several projects simultaneouslyEvidenced ability to work effectively as part of a team supporting an inclusive working environment championing diversity within the teamExcellent communication and advanced numerical skills with intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
