Celanese is developing innovative uses for artificial intelligence, including within the materials space. This role will have meaningful impact on the implementation and evolution of these innovative tools via data governance. AI models require advanced data preparation and governance policies to offer exceptional output. This role will function as the steward and contact for data that supports digital engagement tools that are used by Celanese team members and Celanese customers. These tools are a fundamental part of Celanese success and strategy, and this role will participate in development of new capabilities.
Responsibilities: Support advancement of data governance program through policy/standard reviews, maturity model assessments, and establishing a data marketplaceAchieve aspiration to spend 90% focus on data issue prevention and 10% on resolving issuesDevelop, document, and maintain data governance processes for in-scope dataProactively influence and guide data owners in supporting data governance processes and in developing key data sourcesFunction as point of contact for resolving challenges related to data integrity Qualifications:Required:
Minimum of Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field0-3 years of experienceStrong change agent and effective communication skillsStrong understanding of data governance processes and standardsProficiency in EnglishNice to Have Skills:
